Bedford Christian Singles
Programme for October 2013 to March 2014

In the months since our last planning meeting we've held 18 events including meals, cinema trips, a summer BBQ, strawberry farm visit, a Barn Dance, a cycle ride, an aircraft museum and Sunday pub lunches. Following the recent Pizza and Planning meeting, this is the new events program.

This season, with over 260 people on our mailing list and more people volunteering, we've been able to arrange two events each month. We hope you'll see something that you like.

Date Event

5th Oct Christian Connections conference - Priory Methodist - book your place now for this national event which we have organised jointly with Christian Connections.

19th Oct Bowling and Meal - St Neots (5pm bowling, 8pm meal). Our bowling events have always been popular so this time we thought we'd try St Neots.

1st Nov Fireworks - Bedford Rugby Club (Friday). The Bedford Blues fireworks evening is always of the very highest quality so we're looking forward to this one.

17th Nov Sunday lunch and walk - we haven't decided where yet but this will be pub lunch followed by a circular walk of a couple of hours in rural Bedfordshire.

7th Dec Christmas party - details to be announced nearer the time.

31st Dec New Year's Eve games night. Our previous New Years Eve events have always been very enjoyable often going on well into the night. Our venue this year offers outstanding view of the river.

4th Jan Post Christmas walk and possible meal or cinema. We always find that a good brisk (not too long) walk after the Christmas period is over helps to set the new year off to a good start.

18th Jan Bedford Museum and Italian meal. The museum and art gallery in Bedford have been closed for several years for a multi-million pound refurbishment so we're interested to see how it looks now.

8th Feb Pizza and Planning - time to plan the summer's events.

22nd Feb Valentine Meal - Green Man, Lavendon. Our annual meal to remember that whether single or not, God still loves us.

Plus ad-hoc events where appropriate. We often fill gaps in the program with cinema and/or meal events so look out for email updates.

Details of each event will are circulated by email to everyone on the mailing list nearer the time. The group is growing larger with each month and there are new people at almost every event. If you've not yet attended an event, do make yourself known to us and come along to something. We look forward to meeting you.
